7: Peanut Butter Club: February 15

Presents the video “Margaret: The Rebel Princess” on Friday, February 15, at noon, in Redfield Auditorium, 45 Water St., Woods Hole. Learn how Princess Margaret’s life and loves reflected the social and sexual revolution that transformed the western world during the 20th century, and redefined society’s image of the modern princess. Sponsored by the WHOI Visitor Center. Coffee, tea, and cookies served. Donations accepted. More »

 

8: Woods Hole Public Library: February 16

A documentary film about childhood education and the outdoors “Mother Nature’s Child” will be shown at the library at 3 p.m. The film is co-sponsored by the Woods Hole Child Center, a local non-profit, cooperative preschool. In interviews with experts and teachers in the field, this film shows the importance of unstructured time in the outdoors for children from the age of toddlers right on through to adolescents.
