The SOS summer summit is coming up soon.
Students Opposing Speciesism

Help lead the revolt against human supremacy.

Speciesism is what lets people pet dogs while chewing on the wings of murdered chickens. Students Opposing Speciesism (SOS) is here to take off the blinders that uphold this arbitrary violence, because all animals can suffer. Right now, a cow is being prodded onto the kill floor of a slaughterhouse, a monkey trapped inside a small cage in a windowless laboratory is going insane, a fox is being electrocuted and skinned on a fur farm, and a bear at a roadside zoo is languishing in a dilapidated enclosure while people gawk. It’s going to take some loud people like us to change this—so let’s level up our activism and liberate animals. 🆘

The SOS summer summit will take place virtually from August 20 to 22, and we’ll talk a lot about ways we can take our activism to the next level—whether that means leading more protests, speaking at events, petitioning our schools, writing articles, getting media coverage, or doing anything else we can to end speciesism.

We’ll have speakers, student panels, games, giveaways, brainstorming sessions, community-building activities, exciting surprises, and more. Don’t miss this exciting event!

Mark your calendars, and look for an e-mail next month with registration info.

And, you don’t need to wait until the summit to start taking action for animals.
