Vice President, Campus Life and Inclusive Excellence

Spring classes are now underway, and I would like to wish everyone a great start to the semester.  I hope your students are excited and challenged by their classes and finding ways to connect with each other and build community. Please remind students of the importance of communicating in a timely fashion with faculty from the beginning, which is always important, whether classes are virtual or in-person. There are also many resources to help students thrive, including academic support, wellness resources, and career and internship resources, that are available wherever they are located.  While these continue to be difficult times that challenge all of us, we look forward to many encouraging developments as AU ramps up activities on campus and prepares to be back in person in Fall 2021. Please stay safe, be healthy, and know that we are always here to support our students.  Wishing all a hopeful year!
