We wrapped ...

... our look at one year of living through the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this week with a roundtable discussion with our Maine Public News team. If you missed any of those stories or want to catch up on the conversation, check out mainepublic.org/coronavirus.

This week’s 10 batch touches on important topics, including a continuation of a previously highlighted report by Susan Sharon. Residents at Maine State Prison say access to medical care is improving slightly after a series of reports by Maine Public.

The other stories are also timely: efforts to address plastic pollution in the ocean, making job interview a little less cumbersome (a sign that more people are getting interviews?) and BBC on why we procrastinate … not that I’m reading that before writing to you!

Don’t forget it’s Maine Maple Sunday this weekend, if you need to replenish after months of pancake projects!

Until next time,

Mark Simpson, News Director
