The federal government is about to give the Canadian economy a multi- billion-dollar kick-start in an effort to recover from the COVID-19 health crisis.

And our pressure has been working: The government said last month that a green and just recovery will be their number one priority when Parliament resumes this fall. But big polluters have been relentlessly lobbying the federal government to funnel recovery spending into their pockets instead.

With Trudeau’s government about to lay out its recovery priorities in the upcoming Throne Speech, we don’t have a moment to waste.
