About

I am a horticulturist at Cornell Botanic Gardens, where I have had the pleasure of working since 2015. Areas under my care include the Mullestein Winter Garden, Kienzle Overlook, and Treman Woodland Walk, as well as other small gardens within our arboretum. Together with other talented staff and volunteers that comprise the Cornell Botanic Gardens community, I work to curate and maintain collections with an eye toward year-round interest. I love connecting people with plants, and firmly believe in our philosophy of “cultivation, conservation, and education.”

I am a New York Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional (CNLP) and member of the American Conifer Society, and hold an A.A.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Finger Lakes Community College. Prior to my employment at Cornell, I worked as a horticulturist at Sonnenberg Gardens in Canandaigua, New York, and as a garden intern at the Claude Monet Foundation in Giverny, France. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and am always looking for new inspiration to bring home to our gardens.
