Tell Congress: Investigate Trump's corruption!

Congress should hold the Trump administration accountable for attempting to use the Hurricane Maria recovery effort to help its friends get richer.

We need a massive wave of support and media attention now to make sure Congress understands that the American people demand a timely and thorough investigation of the Trump administration’s conflicts of interest. We need to know if our president and his friends are profiting off of the harm they're causing to people and the planet.

Stop Trump from putting a campaign donor's interests ahead of the people of Puerto Rico: Take action NOW!

Dear Senator,

More than a month after Hurricane Maria struck, 3.4 million Americans are still without power in Puerto Rico. Whitefish Energy was hired by PREPA to rebuild the grid -- a company whose only qualification for the task seem to be their close personal ties to the Trump administration. This situation is unconscionable.

Congress has the power to pressure the Puerto Rico Fiscal Control Board to cancel PREPA’s contract with Whitefish Energy and use a fully transparent bidding process to find a contractor with the right experience and capacity to get power restored on the island quickly.

You must also demand answers.  How did a tiny company from Montana land a hefty contract to repair the electric grid in Puerto Rico? We must not allow Puerto Rico’s recovery to be taken advantage of by profiteering companies with cushy new ties in Washington. It is your responsibility to thoroughly investigate the Whitefish Energy contract with PREPA.

Please take action to make this happen right away. The residents of Puerto Rico deserve better than this.
