TPS for Cameroon

Urge President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Secretary Mayorkas to grant Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to Cameroon.

There are at least 40,000 Cameroonians living in the U.S. who are in urgent need of protection. Cameroon is in the midst of a massive humanitarian crisis, including an ongoing armed conflict, rampant state-sponsored violence and suppression of civic space, forced displacement, and an acute lack of essentials including water, food, housing, and healthcare. These conditions make safe return to Cameroon impossible, and the government must act immediately to extend protection from deportation to Cameroonians living in the U.S.
