Details:

WHYY is proud to present a conversation with Yamiche Alcindor White House correspondent for PBS NewsHour and moderator of Washington Week. As an award-winning journalist, Alcindor has covered it all: from the historic 2020 presidential election to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, to police-involved killings and systemic racism in America. We’ll hear from Yamiche on her reporting roots, her time moderating a Democratic primary debate and, most importantly, what’s next?

WHYY’s Vice President of News and Civic Dialogue Sandra Clark will host the conversation. At the end of the hour, Sandra will present your audience questions to Yamiche!

This program is presented in partnership with WHYY’s Your Democracy initiative, supported by the Sutherland Family. All proceeds from this event will support WHYY programs and services.

Washington Week airs on WHYY-TV on Fridays at 8 p.m.
