Handy Plants: An Herbal History Tour

Sunday, August 8, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

The Robison Herb Garden has a rich history, as do the over 500 varieties of herbs featured within its walls. View this lush and lively garden through a biocultural lens on an hour-long tour with student Garden Ambassadors Jakara Zellner and Nola Rettenmaier. Learn how plants have been used historically to fight off illnesses, stimulate economies, flavor foods, enhance religious rites, and much more.   Pre-registration is required and group size will be limited; unvaccinated guests are asked to wear a face covering.

Meet in front of the Nevin Welcome Center.
