Details:

The brains behind Lost Bread Co. are determined to bring back a variety of healthy and delicious grains that were lost to the mass production of white flour. WHYY is thrilled to present a live, virtual demonstration of Lost Bread Co.'s take on an American classic: whole grain chocolate chip cookies. After the demonstration, bring your baking questions for a Q&A with WHYY’s Monica Rogozinski, Lost Bread Co.'s Alex Bois and guests from WHYY's Movers and Makers episode all about the “Grain Chain."

If you choose WHYY Basket ticket option, Lost Bread Co. will curate a basket of baking basics for the whole grain chocolate chip cookie demonstration including fresh milled flours (spelt, smoked malted barley), Demerera sugar, bittersweet chocolate chips, sea salt and baking soda. Bring the butter and eggs from your pantry!

** PLEASE NOTE: this curated baking basket is only available for curbside pick-up from Lost Bread Co.'s new cafe located at 2218 Walnut Street in Philadelphia starting January 21st. **
