The holiday crunch is upon us...

... Somehow I’ve managed to cram about 3 months’ worth of activities into the past two weeks. Projects at home, projects at work, teaching myself to do things on YouTube that teenage me would have called boring! Then I started feeling like I wasn’t getting anything done. Whhhhaaa???? Why am I confessing this to you? Well I thought that our article about breaking out of a pandemic slump from NPR could be helpful. It’s ok to give yourself a break and acknowledge that we are still in the middle of some stressful pandemic times. Phew!

Also we have an interesting look at what a virtual therapist looks like, in a related note.

Will the season be bright? Not if the power grid fails -- our friends at NHPR explain more. Also read what our own Fred Bever has to say here

You could ring in a great story by Susan Sharon looking at a remembrance of telephone switchboard operators who gathered to chat about the old days, tips on how to weatherize your home from Maine Calling, and an interview with one of the first Somali Mayor’s in America (right here in South Portland!)

Have a great one!
