Temperatures are cold in Maine ...

... but the news cycle shows no signs of cooling.

Negative temps in the state brought a great reminder that yes, it is winter here! But of course, all eyes have been on Washington, busy with impeachment hearings.

Closer to home, we heard a new voice on air this week, Charlie Eichacker, a recent hire in our digital news department. Charlie is a great writer and has recently looked at the impact of changes to recycling in the state of Maine. You can check out his work here.

On the opposite end of the news spectrum, I think my favorite amusing story is this one from our friends at the BBC on a lawyer who “let the cat out of the bag” during a recent virtual hearing. Be careful with those Zoom filters, readers!

Thanks!
