The Portland Sea Dogs announced Tuesday that it has been given state approval for its reopening plans.
Beginning May 4, Hadlock Field will operate at 28% capacity. That allows for a little more than 2,000 fans at each game.
The ballpark will be set up in physically distant pods ranging from two to eight seats each. Tickets will be sold on a month-to-month basis in case capacity limits change.
The minor league baseball season was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
